Guidelines for Oral and Poster Presentations

Information for Speakers

  • The time allocated for oral presentations is:
    • 50 min + 10 min discussion in case of Plenary lectures,
    • 25 min + 5 min discussion in case of Keynote lectures,
    • 15 min + 5 min discussion in case of standard presentations,
    • 12 min + 3 min discussion in case of presentations given by students/PhD students.
  • All meeting halls will be equipped with PC running with Windows 8, Office 2013 and Adobe Reader 11.
  • Please bring your presentation on USB flash drive.
  • Please upload and check your presentation in advance (preferably one day before the scheduled talk).
  • You will not be able to display your presentation directly from your laptop computer or memory stick. All presentations must be uploaded to the conference computers in advance. When your session is over, your presentation will be deleted from the computers.
  • Presentations must be submitted in Microsoft Power Point or PDF format. For compatibility reasons, it is strongly recommended to use common True Type fonts in your Power Point presentation.

Information for the Poster Presenting Authors

  • The poster board dimensions are (width x height) 95 x 240 cm. The boards have a vertical orientation.
  • The recommended size of the poster is A0 (1189 mm x 841 mm), "portrait" format.
  • Posters should be placed on the boards preferentially on Monday 22nd morning.
